If it's the same Happy Veg at International Plaza, then it is not a vegetarian outlet. They sale finger food like: Vegecrisp-Prawn, Vegecrisp-Anchovis & Vegecrisp-Crabmeat.

Vivo City - another not so vegetarian friendly mall.

ya. HappyVeg is not for vegetarians. They are Vege Biscuits (Cai4 Bing3).

And very disappointedly, there's not a single vegetarian food stall in such a big place which they called themself a lifestyle destination.

There is this restaurant next to PAGEONE bookshop that serves vegetarian olive fried rice and potato gratin, but remember to request for no garlic/onion. The food is quite ok but small portion for the price you paid.

To add on, there's a few other restaurant that serve vegetarian pizza and sandwiches. Can check their menu display at the restaurant's entrance.

Yes,since i work at vivocity,i have to agree that there is no Vegan/Vegetarian friendly outlet. Happyveg are not 100% Veg. Be aware.

Actually there is one place @ Vivocity to get vege food.. u can get from the indian stall.

They serve indian vegetarian.. very expensive and quality is not exceptional

The alternative is to go Pastamania or Subway at Harbourfront.

Note: Not for those who strictly gets food from only vege stall.. and not for those do not take garlic/onions....

I notice yesterday that there are 2 food outlets at Vivocity provide food which labeled as vegetarian on their menu:

1. White Dog Cafe: Vegetarian Pizza
2. Prata stall at Republic Food Court: Vegetarian Murtabak

hey guys, there's actually one non-vegetarian stall that serves vegetarian rice set meal.

In republican food court, the stall ''Lei Char'' serves brown rice with lots of different kind of vegetables, peanuts and green tea soup. Just tell the lady dun add the small anchovies or any other meat condiments, as they prepare on the spot. very yummy.

there was an article in newspaper some time back that vegetarians cannot eat at pastamania cos their cheese is not vegetarian as it contains meat content. so it's better to check with them again.

*paranoid*

Stalking me, are you? Did you cut a hole in a newspaper, or did you simply hide behind a plant? ;)

*paranoid*

I was ordered by my family to visit the old Swedish sailing ship next to Vivo city so i had to document it. Some photos were ok, but nothing exceptional. Seems like every photographer in Singapore has been down there this last week, so it was hard to find unique angles - I didn't succeed.

Btw, I had dinner at a pasta restaurant in Harbourfront (forgot the name, but they have about 15 restaurants in Singapore). I THINK I had a vegan meal, but not sure. The risotto with pine nuts and mushroom, flavoured with white wine, was good but not exceptional. They used the wrong kind of rice, probably canned mushrooms :( and the meal was too small. They also served two soups yesterday, both vegetarian, at least one vegan. Same pasta restaurant has several vegetarian dishes, including pizza, but probably not vegetarian cheese.

To update this topic: In Harborfront Mall there's a new (?) vegetarian stall in the food court on third floor. Been eating there twice now and both times the food has been great. Since it's just a stone's throw away from Vivo City it's a much better place to dine than crappy restaurants who couldn't care less about those annoying vegetarians...
