I am converting to Vegetarian. Now learning to Cook and not to forget get more information from books and net about healthy ways of being a vegetarian. I am not vegan but can eat diary and egg products known as Ovo-Lacto Vegetarians. I am reading this book vegetarian Times. After I finished, I will let you guys know about what I feel. Being a vegetarian, I feel it is good for your health if you know how to go about doing it, good for the environment and spiritually good for your soul as you show mercy to the animals or insects or fishes. However, I don't take the 5 kind of vegetables. Garlic, onion, tobacco, Leek, Shallots and Chives that is considered in Buddhist Wu Hun五荤.
