I was vegan for 3 years in preparation for pregnancy. And largely due to that I'd a smooth pregnancy. However, since I conceived I succumbed to meat eating again due to a sense of insecurity initially and now it's largely the addiction
I'll like to start my gg to be8 mths daughter on a purely vegetarian diet (at most ovo after 1 yr old). Books I read seem to require a crazy amount of food and I simply can't figure how a baby can stomach so much food! My daughter is still breastfed, and I'm not giving her iron-fortified cereals as I don't believe in giving heavily processed food to an infant. I've let her try fruits (banana, avocado etc), grains (short grain brown rice, quinoa, millet). But I've no specific idea how to do about going vegan in the long run. Like what to give daily to ensure completeness of nutrients and how much to give at each stage.
I'm looking for a pro-vegan PD or a parent who can work closely with me at each stage, as no one in my family is pro-vegetarian, and being non-vegetarians, they have no confidence and are worried about my decision, especially when I'm a new mom and have no experience in this at all.
